Who am I?
I’m an Asian American geek that grew up in the Northern VA area and now live in the Seattle area with my wife and two wonderful kids!
Why should you listen to my thoughts? Why am I even writing?
Decades ago, I went to an infamous high school and it’s caused a lot of drama recently. I firmly believe that access to my alma mater should be more equitable to all, regardless of socioeconomic or racial background. I have many friends and fellow alum that feel the same way.
So, I volunteered and joined the TJ Alumni Action Group! We collect/analyze data, do interviews with press/media, help run events with current students, and lobby for equitable and inclusive changes in education. And from time to time, I write about my own experiences, being a former TJ student and a current parent myself.
